Procurement Manager for ČSOB Transformation Program

Role Overview:
  • Procurement Manager for Transformation manages all procurement activities and running contracts in the transformation projects. Provides direction and expertise to all assigned procurement related activities for the program in support of the planning and execution of procurement for operational requirements or projects. Cooperates with vendors for overall transformation in line with internal CSOB and KBC group standards. Role Responsibilities:
  • Monitors, enforces and ensures vendor contractual compliance incl. proactive reporting of contractual events (e.g. prolongations, penalties…)
  • Represent Procurement at transformation bodies, acts as single point of contact towards KBC / IM procurement counterparts
  • Ensures alignment of transformation contracts with overall vendor contracting framework to leverage economies of scale and reduce costs
  • Provides procurement advisory and participates on key project activities which require Procurement Manager presence
  • Ensures that procurement processes are set up in a way that is consistent with the internal instructions of the company regarding procurement
  • Provides the necessary written and pricing/cost information and support of the proposal process including preparation and evaluation of bids in the framework of procurement rules
  • Negotiates and finalizes contracts based on inputs from all relevant units (mainly requestor/contract owner, Legal, Tax, Audit, CPL and Non-Financial Risk), review major purchase orders within SAP approval workflow and subcontracts prior to execution and participate in all major negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Assists to contract owner and legal dept. in the resolution of contract or purchase order disputes mainly related to enforcement of contractual obligations and penalties,
  • Regularly review and renegotiate MD rates to external consultants to achieve optimal impact on budget at par with market level costs or better
POŽIADAVKY NA UCHÁDZAČA
Role Requirements:
  • Master´s degree in relevant field (Law degree wound be an advantage)
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience (procurement, buyer)
  • Fluent Business English (C1 level) with strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of banking processes and regulations
  • Proficiency in using MS Office package (Word, Excel)
  • Strong negotiations skills, strong work ethics and excellent ability to work under pressure
  • Experience with SAP and SRM
