About the role
•Manage new as well as live deals with Distribution Partners in various European countries in terms of IT scope, timeline, and resources.
•Orchestrate IT activities end-to-end ensuring timely delivery, tracking key risks and dependencies, and managing stakeholders across multiple functions.
•Drive the high-level solution design and requirements engineering and ensure high quality deliverables for the implementing IT functions.
•Become an expert of iptiQ EMEA's digital front-end, back-end and data management capabilities to consult Distribution Partners on our proposition.
•Support high level business case assessments for pipeline deals.
•Define KPIs and set-up regular reporting to Management functions.
•Nurture close relationships within the Technology Development unit (near-shore portal development teams, IT Operations, Change Management) and with Operations to ensure high quality delivery on time and within budget.
•Provide regularly insights from Distribution Partner exchanges to iptiQ internal functions to identify and prioritize opportunities.
•Coordinate with external vendors who provide core delivery services.

About the team

You will work in the Program Delivery Team within iptiQ EMEA Technology Development Department.

iptiQ EMEA is a unit within the newly created Swiss Re Life Capital; established to deliver white-label life insurance solutions to be sold through partners, directly to consumers. We are a young, motivated and technology driven team, organised to provide creative solutions for life insurance distributors across Europe that engage with consumers in non-traditional ways. Through our strong operational infrastructure, innovative thinking, insurance know-how and ecommerce competences we want to drive the digitalization of the life insurance business in Europe.

The program delivery team will ensure a comprehensive and well-managed delivery of projects across all relevant functions within iptiQ EMEA.

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

• You have proven your experience and skills in managing projects in a pan-European insurance business. Sound and documented track record in project management methodologies such as PMI or equivalent is highly beneficial.
• You are able to succeed and manage teams in a multi-cultural, multi-location environment.
• You have in-depth understanding of end-to-end business processes in financial sector and can master the obstacles towards digitalisation.
• You have experience in managing customer & client relationships.
• You have a real passion for and knowledge of technology and digitalisation.
• You have experience in applying agile methodologies to digital product development and you implement such concepts in an effective and lean way leading by example.
• You are comfortable with being actively engaged with a diverse range of stakeholders both in a virtual and physical environment thanks to your highly collaborative style.
• You seamlessly interact with executives, senior business leaders and project teams.
• You communicate complex concepts in a compelling, concise, and creative way.
• You are completely self-managed, and able to solve problems and develop solutions independently.
• You work well under pressure and on multiple and conflicting priorities.
• You have an excellent command of spoken and written English. Other European languages are highly advantageous.
• You are committed to accuracy, attention to detail, and quality.
