Job description, responsibilities and duties
 Assisting the documentation team with maintenance and development of software technical documentation comprising of release notes, user guides, manual reference books, technical publications, functionality changes and technical enhancements, new features etc.
 Analyzing the different functions that the user will expect from the system and understand how each function can be performed
 Organizing the technical data in well-structured and logical manner. Formatting data in tabular or question - answer format
 Conduct presentations and trainings internally and externally with customers and partners.
 Setup and maintain certification training curriculum for end users to be trained and tested
 Designing new templates and formats for preparing the documents, customized as per the user requirements and project objectives
 Following the given format and customize the data to create user guides
 Gathering and developing pictures, diagrams, charts, sketches etc., to support the written information in pictorial or video form

Basic Qualifications:
 Ability to develop and maintain technical information to ensure that end users can take full advantage and benefit from complex sets of information delivered in a concise and comprehensive manner
 Experience at least 1 year with technical writing or similar activities
 Experience with visualization and aggregation of information (not data), e.g. infographics
 Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to syntax, grammar, flow and structure
 Excellent presentation and training skills with small to medium size groups and larger audience.
 BS degree in German or Technical Writing
 High level of comprehension and tutorial approach
 Experience with researching highly technical subject matter and organizing material from a variety of sources
 Advanced skills in using Microsoft Office Package

Additional Qualifications:
 Experience with Help authoring systems like Help & Manual would be a benefit
 Knowledge of basic concepts used in technical writing for various types of documents
 Ability to communicate and interact with external customers and partners
 Ability to work independently and as part of a highly collaborative unit
 Ability to communicate and interact with developers to receive input and output end user documentation
 UI and UX knowledge is a nice to have
