CBRE GWS Slovakia is looking for a Finance Business Partner with Commercial Focus. In this role you will be a partner to our operational organization in the Central and Eastern Europe and be responsible for different client accounts in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. As a Finance Business Partner you are business driven, flexible, have strong partnership and analytical skills along with the ability to understand different Commercial Models and translate them to financial data. As personal traits you should be opened minded, structured and be a team player. This role will be reporting to the Regional Finance Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly closing activities to ensure reported actuals are accounted for correctly in line with corporate deadlines.
• Work with the Client Teams to ensure we have all necessary information in a timely manner to perform a successful month end close.
• Prepare Client reporting, which includes analytical review, variance analysis, profitability reporting and balance sheet analysis.
• Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and ensure our BS position is correct.
• Review of the country P&L and preparation of required reporting in addition to participation in regional reviews, projects and initiatives.
• Focus on cost control and responsibility for delivering operating expenses budget. Drive cost efficiencies and savings opportunities.
• Support operations and Client Teams with finance related ad hoc queries and reports.
• Leading and completing the Budgeting and Forecasting Process for the Division.
• Collaborate with Client Teams, ensuring good communication at all levels to establish a good working relationship.
• Drive high quality financial / commercial performance through understanding the contractual commitments on service lines.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial systems, identify opportunities to enhance system efficiencies.
• Continually review, maintain, and improve cash-flow, margins, and reporting.
• Develop targets and benchmarking processes to challenge the financial information.
• Build strong relationships with peers, clients and extended teams.
• Train operational managers in financial understanding

• Minimum 5-7 years experience within Finance Business Controlling.
• University Degree in Finance or Accountancy.
• Highly computer literate.
• Experience from and enjoy working in a matrix environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
• Verbal and written skills in the Czech and/or Slovak language.
• Ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on, pragmatic delivery.
• Ability to shape, lead and influence other senior managers.
• Well developed, effective communication skills enabling the individual to work with Board Members, clients, suppliers, and staff at all levels and of all abilities.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
• Committed to customer service delivery.
• Calm manner, able to work under pressure and with changing demands and priorities.
