Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for responsible colleague for our finance department!

Your main responsibilities:
• responsibility for comprehensive book-keeping in line with local legislation and regional requirement according to IFRS,
• responsibility for set up of processes,
• preparation of VAT and all related statements in line with Slovak legislation,
• booking of differences between reporting and statutory requirements,
• calculation of income tax, deffeed tax, preparation of income tax declaration in cooperation with tax advisors,
• preparation and responsibility for yearly closing, Audit coordination, statutory financial statement preparation,
• coordination, preparation and responsibility for monthly closing, backup for reporting,
• booking of provision and time differences in cost/revenue,
• asset - controll of asset posting, tax depreciation, ensure yearly physical inventory of fix asset/low value asset and all related documentation, internal documents,
• responsible for setting of product catalogue for purchase orders, set-up of posting PO,
• posting of salaries,
• monthly account reconciliation and internal controls,
• methodology of accounting and taxes for financial departments and other departments, incorporation of changes in legislation into the company's processes / guidelines, proposals for changes in processes, corrective measures,
• processing of statistical reports of the company,
• preparation of internal reports, creation of contingency tables,
• tax reporting for HO on quarterly basis,
• leading of financial projects.

  • comprehensive Slovak accounting experience for at least 4 years,
  • experience in leading people is an advantage,
  • economic education - business academy or accounting (bachelor degree),
  • English on active level ,
  • knowledge of accounting and tax laws of the Slovak Republic,
  • ability to exactly follow procedures and rules,
  • attention to detail, willingness to look for new solutions (processes/technical solutions),
  • team player,
  • responsible approach.
