Job description, responsibilities and duties
Group Claims is recruiting for a motivated Data Analyst to enhance our data capability and support the deliverable of our data products.
You will be key in maintaining the accuracy of our corporate data enabling analytics and trending of corporate data to achieve key strategic improvements. You will support the maintenance, development and implementation related to the mastering of core and referential global data elements for Group Claims.
You will perform data analysis, enhance data collection and quality and collaborate with our IT team and the wider Claim community while supporting the day-to-day activities of Global Claims Data & Insight.

As Data Analyst for Claims, your main responsibilities will include:
- Gathering and analysing data from multiple sources
- Investigating data issues and identify root causes for data Issues collaborating with all data stakeholders to enable a complete understanding of the problem and solution
- Apply existing process and policies to assure data integrity and accuracy
- Support development of new process and policies to enhance Claims Data Framework
- execute data quality verification on large data set
- ensure high quality data delivery to feed reporting tools
- analysis of current data attributes from multiple sources
- support harmonization effort in collaborating with IT experts
- maintain Master Data of Group Claims at Group level
- support the Data quality roadmap
- Mining and cleaning data in preparation for analysis
- Continuously working to streamline and improve processes, maximising the quality and speed of work undertaken.

Personality requirements and skills
As Data Analyst for Claims, your skills and experience will ideally include:
Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Econometrics, Engineering, Computer Science, Decision Science, Business Management, or other quantitative sciences.
Proven experience in data analysis.- Proficiency in one or more of the following:
- SQL
- Power BI
- VBA
- Nice to have
- R
- Python
- PowerApps
- Exceptional analytical skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical problem solver with critical thinking skills.
- Experience of master data management systems is desirable.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Recommended but not mandatory: DAMA DMBOK (Data Management Book of Knowledge) knowledge and/or DAMA certification (CDMP : Certified Data Management Professional)
