About the Role:
As a Buyer, you'll play a key role in driving procurement activities across assigned categories. You'll implement sourcing strategies that deliver exceptional value whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on our supply chain operations and contribute directly to our business success.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Sourcing - implement effective sourcing strategies for assigned categories, maximising savings whilst optimising Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
✅ Category Management - Analyse market opportunities, continuously improve category performance, and identify innovative solutions to drive competitive advantage
✅ Supplier Excellence - Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with key partners to ensure mutual success
✅ Procurement Operations - Coordinate supply chain activities for indirect materials, manage tendering processes, preparation of contracts and ensure compliance with procurement procedures
✅ Internal Partnership - Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver procurement services that support business objectives
✅ Process Optimisation - Continuously enhance procurement processes and contribute to operational improvements across the supply chain

Upresnenie platových podmienok
From 2500€ Base Salary + 23% Maximum Reachable Annual Variable bonus + 13th Salary (Base salary is MINIMUM possible - will be set based on applicant´s experience)

Essential Requirements:
University degree (Bachelor's level or higher), preferably in a technical discipline
Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience within production (preferably heavy industry)
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Advanced negotiation and analytical skills
Strategic sourcing experience with proven results
Strong technical understanding of assigned categories
Deep knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes
Proficiency in MS Office
Client-focused mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills
Desirable Skills:
Experience with SAP, SRM, ARIBA, or Power BI
E-sourcing platform expertise
